The government currently lacks the parliamentary support to hold a third vote on its Brexit deal, Theresa May admitted in a statement to the House of Commons. She said the government would oppose an expected vote to allow MPs a series of indicative votes, warning that such a process could produce ‘unnegotiable’ results

Brexit: May says high time MPs vote for her deal in No 10 statement



Theresa May delivered a statement outside 10 Downing Street on Wednesday, where she said it was high time MPs voted for her Brexit deal. 
She started her statement by saying it was ‘of great personal regret’ that Britain is not leaving on March 29. She added that her deal was ‘the best deal negotiable’, and attacked MPs for failing to make a decision. ‘I am on your side,’ she said, addressing the British people.

Speaker says May cannot have vote on same Brexit deal



In a surprise statement to MPs, John Bercow says government cannot bring meaningful vote back to parliament again unless substantial changes have been made to the prime minister’s Brexit deal. The Speaker said there had been much speculation about another meaningful vote after MPs expressed concerns about being asked to vote on May’s deal more than once

Trump criticises May's handling of Brexit: 'It's tearing countries apart'



Donald Trump has expressed his dismay at Theresa May’s failure to deliver a Brexit deal that can pass the House of Commons. Speaking before a meeting with the Irish prime minister, Leo Varadkar, the US president added that the British prime minister hadn’t listened to his advice on how to handle negotiations with the EU.

May ‘profoundly regrets’ parliament voting down Brexit deal



Theresa May said she profoundly regretted parliament rejecting her Brexit deal for a second time on Tuesday, 17 days before the planned departure date. The deal was rejected despite late concessions from the EU27, losing by 391 votes to 242 – a majority of 149.
