May to put Brexit deal to MPs tomorrow for third time

The ever-evolving chaos over Brexit has taken yet another twist tonight.

Prevented by the Speaker from putting Mrs May’s EU deal to the Commons a third time, the Government has split the measure in two…detaching the Withdrawal Agreement from the Political Declaration about the future after Brexit, hoping thereby to attract enough votes at least to agree to leave the EU. The DUP are still saying they will vote No and so are others. The prospect of the Government winning is still very much in the balance.

  1. MPs voted down ALL Brexit alternatives…just revoke the thing so we can deal with something more important. Before people argue, the Referendum isn't legally binding. The consequence will be a lot of pissed off (rightly so) people but it means we can finally kick out Katie Hopkins and Nigel Farage.

  2. Damien Green, democracy was betrayed when Cameron rode rough shod over the 1975 Referendum when 67% of the people voted for the EC please don.t tell those voters that since then issues have changed because that is the highest form of hypocrisy as since 2016 there has been a dramatic change in the mindset of the people who now realise they were conned by cowards who lied and jumped ship once they knew their con had worked. For shame on them and for shame on the people who believed them, for their vote is going harm everyone. inflation will increase ten fold and families will be driven into poverty food bans will dry up and it will plunge us down to a third World economy well done brexiteers why don't you take a gun to your head and play Russian roulette with a full chamber

  3. TAR TM HEAD AND PUT IT ON TRAITORS GATE AND LEAVE ONE SPACE FOR TONY BLAIR
POLITICS IS ROTTEN TO THE CORE EVEN REMAINERS MUST SEE DEMOCRACY HAS BEEN MURDERED

  4. Remaining WILL solve it. We've been in that state for 43 years, and it works. 50% can't guess and then insist the other 50% tolerate their gamble.

  5. Walk away without a deal is the best way forward. Why because its been some 40 years since the UK joined the common market, we are and have always been an island nation that will always come back from the brink. We need all MP's and MEP's to sign a new bill that will allow them to earn minimum wages to keep in step with reality, these were voted in by the people for the people, not to get rich on the backs of the tax payer, as a nation we should be voting to sack any MP not doing their job

  6. This should focus the MPs minds (as well as the Electorate)…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7umS86ZmaTI
The UK may suffer when it's out on no deal , but, as in the 1970's, the Price of membership was too high (according to H Wilson, labour). This time the price for the privilege to talk trade to them is too high. Conclusion? …get out no deal on WTO NOW/TODAY
